Our Mission is to empower, equip, and mobilize youth to strengthen their own relationship with the Lord and share Him with friends, families, and the world
We coordinate Pathfinders, Adventurers, Camp Wakonda, Public Campus Ministry, JAHWI, and young adult ministries, along with mission trips and retreats.
This is a place of rest and renewal where people of all ages and backgrounds are able to connect with God through His Word and His creation. Surrounded by nature, there’s no better place to relax and unwind. Enjoy a week at summer camp, family camp, camp meeting, or reserve a special weekend for your church or family retreat.
Pathfinders is a worldwide, coed scouting-type club for juniors and teens in grade 5-12. Pathfinders enjoy Christian fellowship, learn a variety of outdoor and vocational type skills, and become involved in church and community outreach programs. Through Bible reading, Scripture memory, Bible Experience competitions, and mission trips, Pathfinders are encouraged to have a personal encounter with Jesus.
The Adventurer Club is designed to strengthen parent-child relationships by providing fun weekly activities to share. Parents, as their child’s primary teacher and evangelizer, are able to expand their parenting skills, and children are encouraged to develop good attitudes and habits through the stories, outings, and earning a variety of awards. This co-ed club focuses on leading children Pre-K (age 4) – fourth grade to love Jesus.
JAHWI is the Hispanic acronym for Jovenes Adventistas Hispanos de Wisconsin, which in English means Hispanic Adventist Youth of Wisconsin. Members range in age 14 and up. JAHWI holds youth Sabbaths, yearly retreat at Camp Wakonda, an annual mega youth Sabbath, sports day events, youth evangelistic meetings, and more. Members also support Wisconsin Hispanic churches with local youth events, even churches with small youth groups.
The Public Campus Ministry Department (PCM) ministers to Adventist students on public campuses. It is being reported that 80% of our youth are now attending public schools while 20% of our youth are in our Adventist schools. The vision and purpose of the PCM is to create a support structure to minister to Adventist youth on public campuses
